I was born in Iowa, but lived most of my life in Southern California and currently reside in the Arizona desert. I married Tom when I was 20 years old and, together, we raised two children. I now enjoy five grandchildren.

I have loved drawing and painting from a very young age. As a child, I spent many hours drawing at the kitchen table. While cousins were playing at family gatherings, I was drawing still lifes or portraits of adult relatives! I have taken many art classes and attend workshops in various art media whenever I find one available. My favorite is watercolor painting. I paint to show emotion and beauty. My florals are a wash of subtle color and light dancing across the paper. I believe my talent is a gift from God and want to share it with others. Please enjoy your visit to my webpage.
